# The World Guide to Essential Oils & Aromatic Raw Materials

> B2B platform connecting global buyers with suppliers of essential oils and aromatic raw materials.

The World Guide is a directory of producers, distillers and traders of essential oils and aromatic raw materials. Suppliers publish company pages and product pages (botanical name, CAS number, origin, certifications), and buyers use it to find and compare suppliers. Published by AGENCE ERI SARL, Neuilly-sur-Seine, France.

When to use The World Guide:

- To find suppliers of a given essential oil or aromatic raw material, by product, origin, extraction method or certification.
- To see what a supplier offers: its products, their origins and certifications, its company profile and how to contact it.
- To follow the aromatics trade: industry news, and the harvest seasons of botanical ingredients.

Not suited to: retail purchases, medical or aromatherapy advice, or proof of compliance. Product information, certifications and claims are provided by suppliers and are not independently verified by the platform.

How to read it: the site is a web application; its homepage is also served as Markdown with the header `Accept: text/markdown`. Supplier pages are at `/suppliers/{name}--{id}` and product pages at `/products/{name}--{id}`, where `{id}` is a UUID (the UUID alone also works); the sitemap lists every public one. Search results are at `/products?search={terms}`. Errors under `/api/` are JSON Problem Details (RFC 9457).
